I shoot with cameras like trigger-happy gunmen shoot with semi-automatics, and I aim one day to pull that trigger on my camera and paint a photo with my blood.
For me, the best photograph I will ever take will be the one with which I tell you who I am.
"...and he asked me, as seems to be standard of all art schools, where the interest in my medium comes from, and I told him: Light. Light, I just love light. To me, it’s the most beautiful thing in the universe, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and ever could dream up. It is divinity in itself. Light.
And I told him, to me, it’s not about controlling it or manipulating it or changing it. It’s about merging with it, becoming that beautiful thing I love so much. And I thought about it, and maybe that’s why pressing that shutter button is like a breath of fresh air: because only when I feel part of this magnificent thing, can I feel magnificent myself."
